Job Sheet & Risk Assessment

The work ot be done including the client requirements for safety and site management, the risk assessment and the welfare arrangements have been explained to me.

I am familiar with the task and machine risk assessments that are in the truck file and I am comfortable to proceed with thework. I have checked my PPE and it is in good order.

I understand the work to be done as specified by the estimator and the client requirements for safety and site management. 

I have planned the work including the work atheight, rigging and water rescue plans as applicable.

I have completed and briefed the risk assessment and the welfare arrangements.

1 - Rescue an injured climber using a MEWP and Climbing Equipment Person responsible for this action
A second climbing line shall be installed in the tree for rescue purposes if appropriate Team Leader
The condition of the casualty shall be assessed so that the emergency services can be given comprehensive information Designated First Aider
Emergency services shall be called using the 999 /112 service as soonaspossible following incident Ground worker
The office shall be informed of the situation and of the actions taken so far Designated First Aider
The rescuer shall ascendto the casualty using MEW and arboricultural climbing techniques Designated Aerial Rescuer
The rescuer and casualty shalldescend to the ground Designated Aerial Rescuer
First aid shall be administeredwhilst awaitingthe arrival ofthe emergency services Designated Aerial Rescuer
First aid shall be administered whilst awaitingthe arrival ofamanager Designated First Aider
